As you may have noticed already, all weeks going back to 1991 are not yet available. The technology did not exist back then, and besides I was only a little kid. However, the artists and titles of the songs going all the way back to 1991 do exist, it's just that they are spread out across numerous spiral notebooks, composition books, notepads, backs of envelopes, napkins, hotel letterhead, and who knows what else.

My goal with this website, if it weren't immediately recognizable, is to eventually have every last one of those weeks represented here and accounted for, in both text and audio formats. This is a huge undertaking and I really have no idea when I will be finished with it.

As I continue to make progress on this massive backlog, I will try to remember to update this page to reflect where I presently stand with respect to working my way backward. I appreciate your patience through all of this, and I thank you for showing your interest by visiting this site today.

As of January 26, 2009, text entries are available for 170 weeks dating back to November 6, 2005. Audio files are available for all 170 weeks in the same span of time. Presently, however, all of the flash players for entries prior to Week 872 are pointing to invalid filenames. This was an unforeseen result of my recent effort to port all Songdiary entries over from another blog to a brand-new, dedicated blog of its own. I'm slowly working to get this resolved. In the meantime, you can still access all of these audio files and listen to them using the Yahoo! EasyListener widget, which I have adopted for use in the interim.
